Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Jeff Katz guides Definition 6’s business strategy and leads the team in quickly capitalizing on opportunities in the ever-evolving world of marketing and technology. He has played an integral role in Definition 6’s strategic growth and success since joining the team just three years after the company’s founding. Previously, as COO and President, Jeff oversaw the expansion of the 170-person agency’s global footprint to multiple cities and the successful acquisition of several companies. Jeff has consistently been the driving force ensuring projects meet customers’ objectives and are delivered on time and on budget.
Chief Financial Officer
Stewart Brooks brings over 20 years of experience as a senior financial executive for companies ranging from entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 500 corporations. He has a proven track record of building financially successful companies from the ground up, managing high growth operations, securing equity and debt financing, and effectively managing strategic and tactical initiatives. Stewart holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia and a M.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University. Stewart is headquartered in Definition 6’s Atlanta office.
Chief Digital Officer
Paul McClay leads the Digital Agency’s account teams at Definition 6. Paul works closely with clients to deliver strategies that leverage the full spectrum of digital marketing executions and then implements the plans to make them a reality. Paul helps clients to redefine brand experiences and drive measurable business results that lead to industry-leading performance, as exemplified by his strategic counsel to Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating. Paul helps clients leverage strategies including paid media, search, social, video and mobile.
Managing Director, Synaptic Digital
As the Managing Director of Synaptic Digital, Laura Pair is responsible for the sale of all video, audio and broadcast media products and services. Laura also designs and executes media strategy for the company’s clients and helps develop new products and promote new business. Laura has a BFA in Film and Television from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has won numerous film and video awards including the Telly Award, the WorldFest Award, and many more. EVP, Entertainment & Integrated Media
As EVP of Entertainment & Integrated Media, Rob combines nearly 40 years in the post-production industry with 16 years of experience in the interactive arena to head up the company’s Entertainment business (see Def6Video.com). After starting his career at Unitel Video, Rob co-founded 601 design, a digital post-production boutique he sold to interactive agency iXL in 1998 at the peak of the dot-com boom. Rob became iXL’s NYC Managing Director and later spearheaded the successful management buyout of iXL Digital Video Group to form Creative Bubble, acquired by Definition 6 in 2009. Rob is the recipient of an Emmy and a Clio. “At Definition 6,” says Rob, “we create unique experiences for brands across all platforms that are meaningful, entertaining and effective.”
Managing Director, International
Matt Thomson is the Managing Director of Definition 6’s international business, TheNewsMarket. Matt was previously MD Europe for Synaptic Digital, responsible for the European P&L and operations. He was part of the founding team at TheNewsMarket (predecessor to Synaptic Digital) and during his tenure has been responsible for business development, product, sales and operations across multiple continents. Matt has built a multilingual team winning and executing award-winning video production and distribution business in 11 European markets. In 2014, TNM launched yournewsmarket.
Expert in Residence
As Expert in Residence, Frank Radice advises Definition 6 leadership and clients on marketing strategy and issues pertinent to the evolution and transformation of the broadcasting and cable industry. Frank joined Definition 6 from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, where he was President and CMO. Prior to NATAS, Radice served as EVP of Advertising and Promotion at NBC Universal’s NBC Agency, where he was responsible for NBC News and MSNBC, as well as top NBC Entertainment programs. Frank’s 38-year career in network television spans executive positions at NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN. He has received many awards, including two Columbia DuPont Awards, two national Emmy Awards, TV Week Magazine/PromaxBDA’s “Campaign of Distinction” award, and induction into PromaxBDA’s “Hall of Fame.”
