Katz awarded for commitment to serving local technology companies
ATLANTA September 30, 2008 Definition 6 the Southeasts largest full-service interactive firm announced that its president and COO Jeff Katz, was awarded AeA 2008 Spirit of Endeavor Outstanding Leadership Award. The regional Spirit of Endeavor technology awards honor individuals and companies with significant accomplishments within the high-tech industry.
Winning this prestigious award is an honor that pays tribute to everyone at Definition 6, said Katz. Our teams commitment to meeting customers expectations and increasing their satisfaction is what drives our business.
Katz, who joined Definition 6 in 2000, oversees the companys daily ventures, including profit and loss management, goal setting, and employee consulting and development. He also manages the business development efforts, ensuring high customer satisfaction with projects delivered on time and on budget.
Katz is active in local organizations, including Georgia Technology Leadership Coalition and the AeA Southeast Councils executive committee, of which he is chairman.
The AeAs Southeast Council hosted the sixth Spirit of Endeavor Awards banquet earlier this month at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The awards were given in five categories: Outstanding Leadership Award (individual); the Technology Entrepreneur Award (individual); Emerging Business Award (organization); Technology Innovation Award (individual); and Leadership in Technology Education (organization).
