SharePoint Business Analyst/Designer
Definition6 is looking for a SharePoint Business Analyst/Designer to provide professional consulting services on the implementation of MOSS 2007 solutions. If you like a blend of team leadership, design, architecture as well as coding, keep on reading.
What will you be doing?
We're looking for expertise in SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0), SharePoint Designer 2007 and various other .NET components. The Business Analyst/Designer will oversee and participate in the architectural design, development and customization as well as helping others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge. Much of the project will be done from a virtual location.
A few prerequisites:

Must possess advanced knowledge of business workflows and have an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and SharePoint Designer 2007.

In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence is required.

Ability to evaluate, select and articulate product strategies between MOSS 2007, WSS 3.0 and Microsoft Office Forms Server 2007.

Experience with Microsoft Office InfoPath Forms Services is highly preferred, as is experience with SharePoint Templates (Application Templates, Master Pages, Role-Based Templates, and the Community Kit for SharePoint).

SharePoint knowledge should include architectural design, Web Parts development, server installation, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.

Development experience with Microsoft.NET technologies is also required (ASP.NET 2.0/3.0, C#, XML, IIS, BizTalk Server, SQL Server).

Knowledge of the .NET Framework and experience working in the full Software Development Life Cycle.
