Responsive Care
This level of care denotes monitoring only. Definition 6 Engineers will monitor the device and alert the client when there is an outage. This level of care can be applied to any network device that will respond to an ICMP (Ping) request.
This solution involves the installation of a “White Box” on the network that the monitored devices reside. This device will monitor the assigned devices and transmit that information to the Definition 6 engineering staff. The Definition 6 Engineering staff will access the client’s monitored devices several times a
week to verify that certain incidents have occurred, such as the monitoring
software is working correctly.
The client will be notified whenever there is an incident and will have the ability to enlist the Definition 6 Engineering staff in resolving the issue on an hourly basis. The “White Box” device is Definition 6 property and is turned in at the termination of the service contract.
