Account Coordinator

DEFINITION 6, a full-service digital agency is actively seeking an Account Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for social media, digital marketing and has a genuine interest in growing their careers in this space. This is a junior level position based out of our Atlanta office with occasional travel to client locations. 

As an Account Coordinator, you will play a key role with clients assisting them in all facets of client service and interacting with multiple digital advertising disciplines including:

  • Website and Digital Experiences
  • Social Media Campaigns
  • Multi-channel brand and content campaigns
  • Email
  • PR
  • Corporate Communications
  • Broadcast Editorial

The ideal account coordinator will have a great attitude and the drive and passion to learn and succeed and will be responsible for understanding and executing the marketing needs of our clients to help grow their business


  • Assist the marketing and account teams in proposal development, idea generation and presentation decks for new business opportunities and pitches
  • Work with resource management for needs on existing maintenance and upcoming client projects
  • Assist account services in growing current client accounts by gathering information, developing presentations and writing and developing proposals
  • Develop and maintain appropriate, responsive and trusted working relationships with clients and internal team members
  • Generate creative, strategic and tactical ideas to present to Account Managers, Group Directors and clients for account growth
  • Be an active participant in idea generation meetings
  • Manage agency and client expectations to ensure projects are delivered within contracted agreement, manage to expected budgets and recognize revenue where appropriate, forecast and invoice against all assigned clients
  • Ensure all project documentation and communication is clear, concise and free of errors prior to sharing with client
  • Assist in preparing weekly project status reports and hold weekly project status meetings with internal and external team members
  • Work with other departments to develop effective strategies, briefings and deliverables
  • Evaluate the input and ideas of creative, technology and strategic planning relative to strategy and client preferences
  • Manage several projects simultaneously
  • Advocate clients internally and keep the complete agency team informed, focused, and enthused about the client’s business
  • Continue to build expertise within the digital landscape


  • Experience delivering digital marketing initiatives to clients, nice to have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Passionate interest in the digital world and what it can offer consumers and clients
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Self-starter, high energy, assertive, take charge personality
