When Centric made the shift to become the first network designed to boldly celebrate the beautiful, diverse world of black women, it needed a website that would not only promote the network’s programming but also bring the new brand to life. DEFINITION 6 was tasked with creating a new website that would solidify Centric’s presence as a destination for this complex audience to engage with relevant lifestyle, news, and entertainment content.
The primary goals were to create a destination where users could see themselves reflected and celebrated, to drive traffic and user engagement, and to create additional revenue streams through new ad unit formats and sponsorships.
We designed and built a responsive site with a clean, bold, modern UX to provide an immersive brand experience. Flexible content blocks organized a large amount of text-heavy content while handling a wide range of content types, from images and video to social and user-generated content.
