After spending months at home, many people are trying to book, or re-book, those much-needed vacations. But with pandemic-related restrictions keeping flight and hotel options limited, families are looking for low-risk ways to venture out this summer. According to AAA’s 2020 Summer Forecast, about 97 percent of Americans who plan to travel this summer, plan to do so by getting behind the wheel.
The client was looking to position themselves as a resource for families wanting a fun and safe way to travel this summer. With that in mind, we created an engaging Virtual Media Tour segment, where a spokesperson shared information on road trip planning, while offering some helpful safety tips.
The content resonated very well with television and radio station producers, we were able pull together a full schedule that included two national and four top 20 market interviews, all conducted via Zoom or Skype in under a week.
