For WE tv, creating fresh and engaging content on social is just as important as the entertaining TV programming that audiences have come to look forward to. Because of this, the network is always looking for new and fun ways to continually grow and engage with their audience digitally, while extending the life of their programming. As the network’s agency partner, DEFINITION6 is usually the first place they turn to help generate creative ideas. An example of what can result from the collaboration is the series of WE on the Street videos that have been shared across the network’s social accounts.

From the initial idea of filming these “Man on the Street” style videos, through brainstorming video concepts, writing interview questions, producing, and editing, DEFINITION6 has continued to create funny, insightful, and interesting content to broaden the conversation with their audience.

The videos are part of an ongoing campaign created to drive tune-in, raise brand awareness, encourage engagement from online audiences, and supplement WE tv shows and acknowledge relevant holidays. From Valentine’s Day and National Siblings Day to voting awareness and women’s empowerment, the ongoing series takes to the street to give viewers a voice.
